"The Gift of Liberty" expresses my impressions and feelings upon seeing the
Statue of Liberty in person for the first time,
and "4 Liberty" expresses my appreciation of the following:
The first is the Statue itself – “...a gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of the United States and a symbol of freedom and democracy.”

The second is the symbol of hope she represents of a better life for millions of immigrants and their descendants.
Third, she reflects the Providential blessings stated in the Declaration of Independence, “…We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
And fourth, she carries the torch of light for all who love freedom and welcomes those who desire to experience it.
